Microsoft CRM vs. SalesLogix

Microsoft CRM is the new kid on the CRM block, debuting in 2003 and Sage SalesLogix has been a leader in the market for 13 years. There are differences across the board in both applications. For many users, it’s a matter of look and feel. Others are more concerned with functionality.

Some of the larger differences in the two solutions are user adoption, ease of use, architecture, TCO and partner support.

These points and more are addressed in BrainSell’s latest White Paper.

  1. I’ve worked in both systems. Was a SLX user for nearly 8 years, until I switched jobs and now have to use MS CRM. The differences are far greater than look and feel. MS CRM is not in the same ball park as SLX as far as features – and more importantly – FUNCTIONALITY – are concerned. The segmentation and reporting capabilities in CRM are abysmal, whereas in SLX they are rich, logical and very easy to master. And we consistently struggle with perfomance issues that even MS support cannot sort out.
I would switch back in a minute.
